Weekend Action in Minneapolis
I took my first trip to Minneapolis this weekend for the Purdue-Gopher football game and had a great time. Here is a recap of the places we went to over the weekend.
-
1
Restaurant Max -
215 4th Street S. - Minneapolis (Downtown)
Report this commentConveniently located in the Hotel Minneapolis downtown. Highly recommend the Bruschetta appetizer.
-
2
Stub and Herbs Drinking and Eating Emporium -
227 Oak St. S.E. - Minneapolis
Report this commentThis was our first stop for Saturday tailgate action. The bar was crowded (expected), but we had a blast in the outdoor beer garden. The on-the-grill breakfast sandwich was awesome and served as a good base for the rest of the morning's activities.
-
3
Sally's Saloon & Eatery -
712 Washington Ave. - Minneapolis
Report this commentWent here after the game to drown out our sorrows and re-discovered the greatness that is Grain Belt Premium beer.
-
4
Ike's Food & Cocktails -
50 S. 6th St. - Minneapolis (Downtown)
Report this commentThe 50's vibe plus the great beer list and awesome burger made for an excellent lunch.
-
5
The Local -
931 Nicollet Mall - Minneapolis (Downtown)
Report this commentHad a great time at The Local last night. I am a big fan of Irish pubs and this ranks up there with the best. Try the Big Ginger!

6
Brit's Pub -
1110 Nicollet Ave - Minneapolis (Loring Park)
Report this commentA great place to end Saturday night and our weekend o' fun. If it was warmer outside I would have tried my hand at lawn bowling.
