What is it? As with all games in this series, these two latest installments have you and your fellow online opponents shooting it out in massive battles set in huge open battlefields. Except while “1943” returns to the hardcore World War II motif of “Battlefield 1942,” the free-to-play “Heroes” takes a more cartoonish approach to that great war… and this great series.
Why will it keep you inside? Sometimes shooting your friends online is a great way to relieve post “struck out in front of everyone at the company softball game, including that cute girl from accounting who always asks about your cat” stress disorder.
