From their panty-less moments to their stints in rehab, it feels like we’ve seen everything the celebrity world has to offer. And we mean everything.
While some detractors may call the skin markings of Harrison Ford, Johnny Knoxville and Padma Lakshimi blemishes (pshaw!), we think these permanent etchings make a star sexier, more mysterious—and hint at a wild side we may have not seen in the press.
Here are the stories behind the scars that have captivated us almost as much as the stars who carry them.
