Jasmine 26: User Reviews
Jasmine 26
8 E. 26th St. - Minneapolis612-870-3800
$3 beers, 1/2 price glasses and bottles of wine, $6 fancy cocktails and a huge menu of happy hour food have moved this restaurant up to the top of my list--especially for late night weekends. The food is amazing and they even make their own ginger ale for the drinks. I really like the Ginger Fizz (with ginger infused vodka) and the Cucumber Martini (cucumber infused soju and sake). It's like Azia except not pretentious. Don't be scared off if it's not busy--I just don't think people have wised up to how great this place is.

What you get at Jasmine 26 is significantly more from what you get at any other Vietnamese restaurants in Minneapolis. The ambiance is contemporary and simple...upscale but not pretentious. The service is excellent and helpful for when you are a newcomer.
The food is absolutely delicious and better yet, 100% traditional but with a modern take. The sea salt pepper tofu is probably the best tofu you will ever have! Their pho is excellent...2nd to best next to my mother's!
Jasmine 26 also offers the best cocktails in the the Cities...according to City Pages...and it's true. With their concoctions, their Ginger Fizz, Pom Bomb and spiked bubble tea...who can go wrong!?
This place is seriously good eats and trumps all other Vietnamese restaurants in the city.
