The Menu Board
It is precisely 78 miles from Minneapolis to Stockholm, WI, and every one of those miles features great Midwest scenery. Especially once you cross the river into Wisconsin and follow Highway 35 as it snakes alongside the Mississippi River and Lake Pepin. It is a wonderful drive, and makes the trip for pizza pie worth every mile. As we drove up to the farm we noticed cars scattered along the dirt roads that lead up to the farm. Dozens of them. And people milling about with picnic baskets, lawn chairs and coolers. It felt like an old farm dinner. I think that’s the point.
