Twin Cities dining trends of 2011
Cupcakes are out, homemade marshmallows are in. That’s just one of the dining trends for 2011.
Also making the national list (released by Zagat) are goat neck, single-dish restaurants and velvet falernum, to name a few.
Locally, food editor for Minneapolis St. Paul Magazine, Stephanie March says small plates, artisanal coffee, sexy vegetables and bread are all going to be big this year.
