Artist Antonio Gaudí is obviously an influence at Solera, where the atmosphere mimics his Barcelona architectural wonders. Intricate colored mosaics adorn the walls and tables, while hand-crafted glass light fixtures double as works of art. A hip, laid back lounge gives way to a more formal dining experience in the Alhambra Room, which accommodates up to 600 people in the beautiful second and third floor dining rooms. The Spanish tapas menu is the most authentic in all of the Twin Cities and the wines reflect the diverse vineyards of the Iberian Peninsula. If the weather’s right, head up to the rooftop patio for a glass of sangria and some patatas bravas as you take in the sights and sounds of Minneapolis.
