It doesn't matter what neighborhood you're in, it's almost universal that the neighborhood could use another deli. Golden Valley was no exception, that is until Mort's moved in next to the Chipotle on Winnetka. The sandwiches are large and sometimes a little crazy—Turkey covered in parm sauce topped bacon and tomato? Yum—and they're definitely spendy. But when they're finally in the swing of things, Mort's will most likely be a solid deli destination.
