Created by farmers Ted Fisher and Robbi Bannen, Pizza on the Farm is open Tuesdays from 5-9pm. Yup, one day a week. But, oh, what a day it is. Every ingredient on the pizza is grown on the farm. And the pizzas are to die for. Chewy wheat-bread crusts give way to amazing toppings like olives, sausage, chunky mozzarella, kale and so many more.

The farm is about 80 miles from the Twin Cities, in Stockholm, Wisconsin, and the drive down is as much of the experience as the pizza itself. Take the route that follows Highway 35 as it snakes along the Mississippi River and Lake Pepin.

Oh, and be sure to bring your own plates, utinsils and beverages. The Pizza Farm provides just one thing: pizza. Bring a picnic blanket or tables and chairs and stretch out on the lawn surrounding the farm buildings. Open a bottle of vino and take in the amazing scenery. Hundreds of people show up every Tuesday night to get their pizza fix, so show up early so you can find a spot to claim as your own.

The 'Za Farm runs rain or shine, a rainy day means finding space in their barn or greenhouse, and this adds to the adventerous feeling of the experience. Definitely don't let a bit of rain keep you away.
