El Gordo, Mexican restaurant whose name loosely translates to "the fatty," is obviously trying to put some pounds on the SLP community. The menu is irresistibly cheesy, greasy and delicious. El Gordo is family owned and family friendly. The ambiance is nice enough for a date night, but casual enough for any old night.
