When you walk into Wasabi off Washington Avenue in Minneapolis, an automated door sensor will welcome you with, "Genki!" This translates to, "How are you?" This should be an indication of the playful atmosphere Wasabi offers at its colorful, trendy sushi bar. The bamboo paneling and the glass beaded doorways add a nice flair to the place, and the dishes they're serving up are absolutely gorgeous. The Crazy Tuna roll is a favorite, served with smokey, pepper encrusted tuna and avocado. Hearty noodle dishes and hibachi dinners are fun too, especially pre-Guthrie.
