The brains (and brewer) behind the beers at the Herkimer brings the first sake brewery outside of Japan to the corner of Lake and Lyndale. Moto-i's home crafted sake might seem a bit too fancy for casual diners, but the restaurant does a good job of educating customers about the rice wine, and the welcoming interior makes for an no-frills night out. Plus, we love the table shuffleboard.
