Long considered downtown’s answer to a Dublin pub, Patrick McGovern’s, a welcoming, no-nonsense bar in St. Paul, offers upscale food with a straightforward flair. Order a steak, some fish, or their popular Reuben. It’s all good here. And with its long mahogany bar, tasteful décor and more beer than you can shake a stick at, it’ll be hard not sit a spell and reminisce with friends.
