Happy hour has finally come to the west burbs! Gone are the days of T.G.I. Fridays! Folks who want a real beer that isn't delivered by a suspenderd server will find their place at Cooper Irish Pub. Cooper has high ceilings, frescos and mirror and LOTS of woodwork. Every light fixure surrounding the bar is mismatched (yet coordinated) and the same goes for the dining room chairs. As a bonus, the underground heated parking lot will keep diners and drinkers, happy, happy, happy. The place is busy though, so get there early, or be patient.
Cooper is the latest offering from the folks who brought you The Liffey, Kieran's Irish Pub and The Local. It's located in the up and coming West End development in St. Louis Park (by the Costco and new movie theaters).
They offer a lengthy happy hour from 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and a late night happy hour from 10 p.m. to midnight daily. They serve some regular Irish fair—fish and chips, sausage and champ—alongside good old fashioned pub food. They are opened for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch.
