Fine dining in the business district is just upstairs in the swanky Minneapolis Grand Hotel. Recently rebranded with David Fhima's name and concept, the former Martini Blu hasn't changed its menu too much in the shuffle. The chef still offers upscale contemporary cuisine, with plenty of seafood and steaks. Watch for nightly specials that often humble the regular menu.
While the kitchen handles the heat, the sushi chefs, led by Chano Bustamante, slice and roll all kinds of traditional and inventive fish creations. The Mexican Roll is a one-of-a-kind favorite, with tuna, yellowtail, salmon, avocado, cilantro, jalapeño, chili oil and spicy Japanese mayo.
