The fireplace and wood-burning rotisserie set the tone for this relaxing restaurant. Tryg's offers a nice taste of Americana while the warmth from the kitchen radiates throughout the restaurant. A filling late-night menu attracts a casual crowd, and its proximity to Lake Calhoun and the neighboring St. Louis Park gives the bar a more suburban feel. It is a nice retreat from the buzz of the city, especially during the summer nights when the outdoor fire pit creates a nice centerpiece for a small gathering of friends.
