Flint-style coney dogs in South Minneapolis? Hey, at least it's not another burger bar. Mike Staab, the owner and operator of this doggy-dog joint also serves burgers, but they aren't the main attraction here. Coney dogs a la Flint, Michigan are what Staab hopes will bring Twin Citizens into his establishment in droves. It's the dry-chili-sauced version of a coney with loads of raw onions for extra bad breath but good eats.
Stabby's looks to be a real good addition to the Minneapolis menu of breakfast places too. Biscuits and gravy, steak and eggs, gingerbread banana pancakes and gourmet omelets are a few of the things cooking in their kitchen every morning.
