Alma owner and chef Alexander Roberts grew up in Minneapolis, worked in New York for awhile in some super hip restaurants, and came back to the Twin Cities to open this retro chic restaurant with co-owner Jim Reininger. They have formed their menu around the use of organic and sustainable food products creating a "New American" cuisine. This combines traditional dishes with new flavors to excite the palate and still offer something for everyone. The atmosphere is casual trendy with an inviting romantic elegance. Open for dinner, if you can get in. Alma's is pretty packed on the weekends so call ahead for reservation.
