Al's Breakfast
Hidden in the heart of Dinkytown lies one of the best breakfast spots in the Twin Cities. This 14-seat diner is hoppin' pretty much every day of the week and has become somewhat of an institution—so be prepared to wait for a seat. But even though it can be standing-room-only, this divey little diner is sure to give you a sense of neighborhood nostalgia. The blueberry buttermilk pancakes come highly recommended.
