Austin, Texas based band Spoon helped local music icon First Avenue celebrate 40 years in business Friday night. Alt favorites Spoon played the Mainroom while experimental pop group Xiu Xiu rocked the Entry. As if that wasn't enough the VIP room was rechristened "The Record Room" with DJ Get Cryphy.
