Best New Bands at First Ave
Metromix was there as First Ave celebrated their annual Best New Bands Showcase featuring their picks of the newest music acts in the Twin Cities. The lineup included Slapping Purses, No Bird Sing, Red Pens, Leisure Birds, Moonstone, Peter Wolf Crier and The Twilight Hours. Also featured were YouTube hitsters The AfternoonDLight, whose remix of Jay Z's "New York State of Mind" has made the group a hit on the internet.
