The Gigantour rolled into Maplewood this past Friday for a sold out show at Myth. The mini-metal fest featured some of the most notable bands on the harder end of today's musical spectrum, including the Scandanavian sensations Children of Bodom and In Flames, and of course metal fore-father Dave Mustaine in Megadeth.

Metromix made the trip out to Maplewood to grab some photos of the mayhem, and put together a few galleries for you to check out the action.

By six-thirty, High on Fire had finished their quick set of head-bashing rock and within minutes Job for a Cowboy were cranking through a rapid-fire set of intense speed metal.

The crowd was primed by the time Sweden's Children of Bodom took the stage, and floor full of young metal heads started off the set with chants of "Bodom! Bodom!"

In Flames

The pandemonium continued at the packed Myth night club, with Swedish melodic-metalers In Flames taking the stage.

After fans moshed and screamed through several intense hours of metal, everyone: Dave Mustaine and his newest incarnation of Megadeth.

Take a look through the photos (enlarge them if you need to), and if you were at the show, let us know know how sore your neck was in the comments.
