Ripple Effect at the Capitol
The Ripple Effect started out quite slow—with a rainy morning, not too many people were on hand to hear early sets from Wookie Foot and St. Paul's Indigo. But as the day progressed, more and more music fans showed up and rocked out to Dead Prez, Michael Franti and Anti-Flag. Then as the show began to end, Rage Against the Machine arrived for a surprise show that turned into a full scale march towards the Xcel Energy Center. After all the action, Metromix hit up the Black Dog Cafe block party and then the extended hours at the Sawatdee in St. Paul.
Here's where you can read up on a few more details from the evening and recaps from the RNC party scene.
