Photos: No Doubt at The X
Now that Gwen Stefani’s done launching her solo career, she's back to fronting our favorite '90s ska-pop band, the O.C rockers No Doubt. She and the band can take credit for countless sleepover sing-a-longs and dance parties in the basements of our parents' houses and way too many radio requests for "Spiderwebs" during said sleepovers.
There’s a new album due out in 2010—it was supposed to drop this year, but somebody had to go and get pregnant again. We’ll try not to resent the little Zuma Nesta Rock (the Rossdales are on a Jamaica-kick with their baby names) and console ourselves with the band’s electric live performances that will inevitably include drummer Adrian Young in a thong. With the lack of newly released material, there were a lot of the classics on deck.
Openers Paramore sported a similarly standout frontwoman in Hayley Williams, and their poppy emo could reach comparable heights.
