Curumin at The Cedar

Curumin brought the flavor, sound and heat of São Paulo, Brazil to the Twin Cities on Tuesday night. Chairs were pushed back at the Cedar Cultural Center for those who wanted to samba, and forget about sub-zero temperatures for a night.
Touches of Brazilian jazz and beachy samba resonated through his digital hip hop samples and free-spirited lyrics. With his charisma as a springboard, Curumin bounced from laid back, sand-in-the-crack reggae to funky electronica without skipping a beat on his electric ukelele.
