The crowd was primed by the time Finland's Children of Bodom took the stage, and floor full of young metal heads started off the set with chants of "Bodom! Bodom!"

The excitement was warranted—Slayer's Kerry King has called Alexi Laiho the best young guitarist in metal. From the his performance last Friday, watching Laiho's face melting solos, it was hard to argue with that assessment. Bodom played tracks from most of their discography, with the more familiar tracks from "Are You Dead Yet!?" going over the best with the increasingly energized crazies roaming around the floor.
