Why he's worth your time: Junior Brown is the world's finest (only?) guit-steel player, sporting a specially designed double necked hybrid that features both a traditional six-string and its lap steel counterpart whenever he takes to the stage. At age 57, he's also a good decade or two older than most of the performing roster at the fest so rest assured Brown's got the real life road mileage to make his honkytonk blues ring true.
