We never heard a news story about all of Kate’s clothes being burned in a fire, but we can only assume that was the sort of paucity she was faced with in choosing to wear this mid-'90s-era flower-print skirt. Though her choice of pattern is dubious, the tailoring on the jacket and length of skirt are perfect—when Kate Middleton makes a borderline fashion mistake, at least she still does it with style.
