'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen' review
Two years after the original "Transformers" turned a line of toys into a global movie phenomenon, all of our important questions will finally be an...

Well, I finally got around to seeing this last weekend and I loved it. Like PP said, it's about good robots fighting bad robots. If you are looking for some serious story line with deep meaning, go see something else. This movie is supposed to appeal to the inner child of the now adults that used to watch the cartoon and play with the action figures back in the 80's. The only problem I had was the mushy, cheesy love crap. I think they threw that in for the girlfriends/wives of the men who are dragging them to see this.

There is only one good thing about this movie. Megan Fox's boobs jiggling when she runs.

This movie was awesome. It's a movie about robots fighting. That's what you get. What else were you expecting?

yeah, absolutely no one other than an idiot would expect this movie to be ANYTHING it is or intended for. It's a summer movie with loud noises and flashy lights (from explosions) in which a group of GOOD giant robots are trying to help the handsome hero and his beautiful love interest in their earth saving battle against EVIL giant robots. It is what it is, nothign more. The story isn't difficult or meant to be a serious ode or a showcase of the participants acting abilities or talents. Who expects any more? Who's gonna think to themselves "Well, the acting is subpar or horrible, and the story isn't a good story, I'm not seeing Transformers 2 because it's not up to my movie standards!" Please.........

Anyone that goes to see Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen(aka Transformers2) DOES NOT expect it to be a serious Oscar contender for Best Picture. We see it because we expect ACTION - and plenty of it. The fact that Metromix's reviewer gave it a ONE-star rating while giving the crappy lame dud Year One a THREE-star rating certainly calls into question the reviewer's ability to review movies. So - may we expect Metromix to hire a new movie reviewer - someone who actually KNOWS movies??? And not just hire just any clueless someone? Seriously - how in the world does anyone even justify giving the stupid-flick Year One the SAME rating as the (actually!)funny The Proposal?????? Year One is the BIGGEST BOMB of this year followed by Land of the (Clueless) Lost - both vying for top Razzies honors! Please - get a clue before you review movies - period!

I agree with the review completely. This movie was awful. I was sitting there the whole time imagining all the other things I could be doing with my time, but I thought my friends would be mad if I tried to leave.

Idiot. Do you know ANYTHING about Transformers besides a few of their names? Don't answer that. I already know. True enough, the live-action franchise does not match precisely with the source material. But then again, have any of the many TV series since the original? But that's beside the the point. Something I will never understand is why so-called "critics" who have no interest whatsoever in a film even bother writing a review. If the best crack you can take at this movie is Alice''s fake-bake, or the awkward "L-word" fiasco, then you quite obviously didn't want to be there in the first place. Box office receipts don't lie. The only "laughably preposterous" thing about this movie is your review. This is simply entertainment. A best picture contender is something this movie never so much as pretended to be. Anyhow, all of that aside, stop bashing a movie that has an overall user rating of 4 of 5 stars, as compared to your 1 of 5. Get a clue.

I caught an advanced screening at Atlantic Station Monday night because I was trying to expand what I see. The more popular the film, the more likely it is that I'm the only one who has never seen it. Now I didn't see the first one and I thought maybe it was a mistake. Reading the reviews, I see that it's not me. The film pretty much sucked to me. For most of the film, the theatre was pretty quiet but there were cheers. Now this doesn't mean the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen won't make any money. I'm sure Megan Fox is hot enough to get a few guys through this one. Shia LeBeouf is cute but there just isn't enough of Fergie's husband Josh Duhamel as Captain Lennox. A few more scenes with him might have made this film less painful for me. Yet I'm sure some of you have already got your tickets and will soon be commenting on how wrong we all are and how we should lighten up and realize that people just want to have fun. If you find it here, please let me know.
