Photos: Opening night at the Science Museum's King Tut Exhibit
The Science Museum of Minnesota unveiled its newest exhibit, Tutankhamun: The Golden King and the Great Pharaohs, during a VIP party hosted by KARE 11's Mike Pomeranz. The Science Museum has more than 100 artifacts on display, including King Tut's sandals and the jars that once held his internal organs. It is the largest exhibit the museum has ever hosted. The ancient Egygptian's tomb was discovered in 1922 which set the scene for 20's costumes and decor throughout the night.
