Photos: Christopher Straub Spring 2012 fashion show

"Project Runway" alum and hometown favorite Christopher Straub debuted his full spring 2012 collection at the Westin Edina Galleria as part of a benefit for the Children's Neurology Foundation.

Straub described his collection as a day in the life under the sea. The theme was very evident with wave-like structures on some of the pieces, coral and water patterns and spikey boleros, dresses and skirts that a real-life Ursula would most definitely rock above water.

The night started off with a silent auction for CNF and music from Tim Mahoney of "The Voice."
