Meals on Heels
Local Twin Citizens put on their prettiest shoes for the inaugural Meals on Heels event held at the Harriet Island Pavilion in St. Paul. Guests feasted on complimentary menu samplings from local restaurants, a host bar from Summit Brewery, and a exclusive Mango Mojito-flavored cake from Celebration Generation. Dave Ryan of KDWB hosted the program and local actress, Laurine Price, judged the Swank Soles Competition. The evening capped off with the performance from the vocal group, Up ‘Til 2.
With the help of the event sponsors, participating restaurants, and the generous guests, Meals on Heels raised over $10,000 to support Meals on Wheels in the Twin Cities!
