Not since the days of Weird Al Yankovic has comedic music reached such a high level of popularity—but that's as far as the similarities between Weird Al and Flight of the Conchords go.

Weird Al was a joke, and Flight of the Conchords, well, they're jokesters (jokesters with a radio show on the BBC, a TV shows on HBO, a Grammy and now a top-selling album.)

New Zealanders Jemaine Clement and Bret McKenzie (the fellas who make up FOTC) describe their music as “guitar-based digi-bongo a-cappella-rap-funk-comedy folk." How about zany for short?

The Twin Cities is lucky enough to host these comedic masta-minds during their CD tour. Check them out at the Orpheum, but before you do, read up on their previous projects and get the deets on their latest album.
