On a lush planet called Pandora live the Na'vi, beings who appear primitive but actually are highly evolved. Because Pandora's environment is poisonous, human/Na'vi hybrids, called Avatars, are linked to human minds, allowing for free movement on Pandora. Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), a paralyzed former Marine, becomes whole again through one such Avatar, and falls in love with a Na'vi woman (Zoe Saldana) . As his bond with her grows, he is drawn into a battle for the survival of her world.

A devotee of the dark arts, Blackwood has a bigger scheme in mind, and his execution plays right into his plans. The game is afoot when Blackwood seems to rise from the grave, plunging Holmes and Watson into the world of the occult and strange technologies.

When a pretty neighbor named Sheeni (Portia Doubleday) plays records by French crooners, it's love at first sight for frustrated virgin Nick. Upon learning that Sheeni is already dating someone, Nick launches a hilarious quest to find his way into Sheeni's heart, and bed.

Ten years after a plague turned most of the world's population into vampires, a critical blood shortage is causing panic and gruesome mutations within the undead community. Edward (Ethan Hawke), a vampire hematologist, is trying to develop a blood substitute when he meets Lionel (Willem Dafoe) and Audrey (Claudia Karvan), two fugitive humans who claim to have a possible cure for vampirism. Edward casts his lot in with Lionel and Audrey in the hope of perfecting the cure before it's too late.
