NEW ORLEANS—On a sweltering Friday afternoon we cooled off at the Hotel Monteleone with refreshing mint juleps and a section of sips guided by Four Roses Master Distiller Jim Rutledge. On the offer? Four Roses Yellow Label, Small Batch and the 2011 Limited Edition Single Barrel. Outside the rowdy conference room, Driscoll's Berries were paired with scoops of cream. Yes, people actually put down the bottle to eat some fruit during Tales of the Cocktail. What a concept.
