Where to watch the game

When it comes to football season, if you're not throwing a football bash in your own basement, you need to know where to get rowdy.

In our neck of the Midwest, there's as many football fans from Wisconsin as there are Minnesota. These transplants from over the river have set up shop at some Minnesota bars in the Twin Cities, while other bars have made a name for themselves in the Vikings' world.

So here's where to go, according to whose colors you'll be donning. Are you ready for some football? These spots are.

Viking Bars—Home team advantage

Viking Bars—Home team advantage

There are certain places in the Twin Cities that have made a name for themselves in the sports bar world. Whether it's their wall-sized screens, their history in the business or the cheap beers, theses are the bars to be at if you're a Vikings fan. Here are the best places to don your horned helmet, and while you're there, keep your eyes peeled for a few players to stop by after the game.

Packer Bars—Behind enemy lines

Even a cheese head gets tired of getting razzed all the time for their team choice, so they've found some solstice in a few Twin Cities bars. Some of these places have gained their reputation through Packer backer owners, their proximity to the river or a tradition that's been cultivated by generations of fans. So grab your now defunct Favre jersey, and beat feet over to these Green Bay bars.
