Sister location to the 331Club, the 501 Club's slogan is "Toto, we're not in Northeast anymore". A larger, more food-filled music venue, the 501 is a place to take in some live local bands or even grab a bite during your downtown lunch.
Two rooms offer a lounge experince for those who aren't interested in the band (a common complaint at the 331). In the former Matty B's Supper Club location, parking here is about as good as it gets in the city. Two near-by lots range from free- $1.50 or you could skip the whole parking thing all together and take the light rail, which stops two blocks away.
Don't expect any signature colors at the 501 though, they don't own the building.
