Arnie's Bar
There is a local legend about Arnie’s Bar in Shakopee. The story goes that during prohibition, the bar remained stocked with alcohol via a boot-leggers tunnel. Supposedly, the spirits would be brought up the river by boat and under the cover of night, they would bring liquor up through a shaft from the riverbank to the basement of the bar. It’s much easier to get a cocktail these days and if you get the barkeeper talking, he might tell you more details of the local tale.
