Live music at a Nicollet Mall restaurant is hard to come by. Live music seven nights a week at any venue in Minneapolis is almost unheard of. Live music seven nights a week, available to anyone of any age is about as unique as it gets. But the Dakota Jazz Club and Restaurant doesn’t want to alienate anyone, which is why they don’t have a dress code either. Equally effective as a happy-hour hangout, or a concert venue, this music-driven restaurant gives everyone from out-of-town visitors to teenagers with an ear for jazz a place to call their own.
