Whether it’s a pint after work, a quick bite for lunch or a group outing to watch hurling or rugby, there’s never a dull moment at this downtown pub. The Local is one of the largest pubs around and aims to keep things as authentic as possible. All draft beers are served in 20-ounce tulip glasses and Irish whiskey flows like an unstoppable river. While there are a few nooks and crannies for solitude, and the dining room offers a more laid back atmosphere, this is a place for more good loud times as opposed to a quiet night out.
