The Triple Rock Social Club has managed to garner a devoted local following equally stoked about its extensive vegetarian and vegan menu offerings (anyone up for vegan chili cheese fries?) as its top notch frequently punk oriented music booking. Thankfully the restaurant and music venue are separated by some seriously soundproofed doors, so those who want to scarf down their fries while avoiding ardent slam dancers can dine without worry. Its proximity to the U of M and Augsburg helps to diversify the crowd, teetering somewhere between punk and preppy, who lineup down the block when a big name takes the stage. A jukebox spins the tunes on non-event nights, and seem to keep things lively enough for most crowds.
